near Lienz

It was our last day in Austria and was hot again. We took the gondola and chairlift to the north of Lienz and walked to the Neualpseen. This is an area of small lochans at various heights just below the hill, Schleinitz. Despite the proximity to ski slopes, the area is delightful with good views of the southern Hohe Tauern hills.
