More Development!!

I was amazed this evening to see what had been done to a lane very closer to where I live. The other day it was thick with brambles and other vegetation. Today the chain saws have been in and it is a very different place. All in the name of progress!

It is a start to the development of a new road junction which will lead through to ask the new houses which will be built out in the countryside. It has not been opposed by the village as most people think this will be the bypass Bierton needs. It won't. 

There will only be a nature single carriage road eventually linking through to the A41 and more traffic well stack up through the village as this wonderful junction (note the sarcasm) week be traffic light controlled and so lead to queues heading out of the village.

The village council has pointed out the shortcomings of the current plan but the county council are hell bent on getting it done regardless. There seems to be no joined up thinking going on at all and no one who actually understands traffic flow has made any of these decisions.

The plan has houses on one side of the road and a children's playground on the other BUT no crossing for them to use. Madness and all done on the cheap!

So yet more habitation for wildlife is lost to the developers greed. More houses for more people in an area of the country already heavily populated. But what do I know about it? 

No wonder Politics is a dirty word and politicians are now thought worse than second had car salesmen!
