Colors

Why are trousers (or pants for the Americans) always such boring colors? I remember having purple jeans once and a friend having red ones. Today we seem to be limited to beige, dark beige, orangey beige and dark brown. From the arrangement of these legs, even the clothes are bored with themselves!
