Freebie
Like many others my Blip mojo is at a low ebb, but the sight of these bright pink tobacco flowers caught my attention. The seed was free from an entomological charity who are trying to encourage people to grow them as a nectar source for Convolvulus Hawk Moths. They smell gorgeous but so far I've not seen any moths using them, but there's still time as they're migrants from North Africa and reach peak numbers in late summer. The plants add a welcome splash of colour to the August garden though, so I'll be growing them again next year.
