Licence to fly
Miserable weather, drizzly rain and cool. Matched my mood which was down a bit not just because of the weather, nor the large hole left after the children have gone but also the slight pain in my back and the tummy pains.
Luckily I know my internals enough to know large and/or awkward kidney stones are on their way. Managed to do the morning dog walk, taking refuge in the Bannwald in Ottobeuren. Back home just did the musts then laid down with a hot water bottle.
I lose kidney stones on a weekly basis and those are just the ones I see. Probably a lot more small ones. Perhaps having had a relaxing week, I haven't done enough physical work to dislodge any.
Luckily Angie back home in time to do the evening dog walk and do the other animals. Just before midnight, I got up and while feeling pretty bad, the various pains had gone.
Realising I hadn't photographed anything, grabbed the nearest object which was a bottle son J had bought at Gatwick on his flight over. We never did get around to trying it, having stuck with the original Pimms we had here.
Only after seeing the photo on the PC did I notice the balloon image. Appropriate as J has a hot air balloon pilots licence and a balloon. The pressure of work means he hasn't used it for some time. Hope he doesn't forget to get in some hours to keep the licence active.
