Here is my friend Afua (pronounced eff-ee-ya), a one-in-a-million kinda girl. She insisted on travelling to Manchester from London where she lives to make sure that I wasn't alone this weekend, birthdays and Fathers Day being a potentially difficult day for me the last few years.

She is kind, generous, lots of fun and exceptionally clever. When we are together we laugh A LOT. Kai adores her and gets up to all sorts of high jinx to arrest her attention.

A beautiful, colourful lady, who has been unaccountably good to Kai and I, she deserves a tribute blip.
