What you do on a day off!!!!

Mr W and I both had the day off today so decided to have a day out - what ever the weather.

However, the weather did stop us choosing our first mode of transport as the motorbike doesn't come out of the garage in the rain!!

So off we popped to Camber Sands. Stopping off in a lovley little Tea room on the Ashdown Forest for scrummy teacakes and crumpets. The staff looked a bit grumpy and non vocal but it didnt ruin the teacake!

We drove cross country down to Rye where we had an enjoyable walk on the beach, stopping to a 'photoshoot' in the dunes. Mr W didn't want to walk too far due to his knee. I told him he's not allowed to get old!!!!!

We went to Camber about 5 years ago when we had Bear (our Shepherd) and remembered enjoying the best egg and chips there EVER. So it had to be done, and we were not disappointed!!!! 

An ice cream and Heart shaped Pebble hunt (as seen in the extras)  later and we made our way home via Starbucks for our final treat of the day.

We need more days like this.
