been a while and how life has moved on ....now im rowing the Atlantic from La Gomera to Antigua in the Talisker race December of this year. Singularly the biggest undertaking ive taken on. Were as a pair ... 7 weeks at sea minimum, unsupported. 40 to 50 ft seas...sharks.. whales breaching.. wild delinquent guppies marauding around.. ok.. i lied about the guppies.. but the rest is true enough... follow us do  North East Atlantic Challenge on the net or our new sponsored name on faceache of Thrift Energy Atlantic Challenge....   so.. where are we......havnt really done alot of photography recently,, this rowing has been all encompassing ... although i say rowing,, should read fund raising .. or at least trying to fund raise... my life its hard.. people say it ,, but to experience it is difficult. Apathy rules...im thinking i need to tony tiger pictured here to come visiting with me.. it`ll make it a bit easier in extracting support ..in amongst the negativity there is of course plenty of positive, but its true to say the negative is as broad as the atlantic were rowing. Were getting there though...the race fees have just been paid,, that in themselves would make Donald Trump weep. 
I like a good whinge.. and on here im safe cos no one reads it... sort of like a purge...cleansing ....currently listening to Simon and Garfunkel so tis the season to be deeeeep ... Theres low points in every endeavour and weve just come through this one ,, had two weeks off work to spend with girls.. and today being the 20th when i wrote this , the weather finally put the nail in what can been only described as disappointing period.. our van went pop after having spent 800 quid to get it fixed...at least the fitter has taken it back with the words, "well.. its down to me" ringing in our ears. We`ll see... wonder how much this is going to cost.. all of which could have been negated if only the weather had played ball.. but no,, the one day ive looked forward to for ages is the Bournemouth air show,, and what did we get ,, rain .. and a cancelled show....gutted.. so today im quietly screaming inside.... still back to work next week.... in the immortal words of the song,, Things can only get better.
