Prepping for the Valleys

Prepping for our trip to the Valley's tomorrow to visit my great aunt after the death of my great uncle. Reading through the 'language of the Valley's' instantly reminded me of him and his humour.
We were meant to travel down today after my haircut but mum's car needed a new tyre!
Looking forward to seeing family but dreading it all at the same time. Circumstance.
Met the bestest for coffee after my haircut.and we laughed a couple of hours away. She never fails to cheer me up.
Evening spent with the other half who enjoyed his last cooked meal for a week! He's a beans on toast kind of cook, apparently.
Packing and TV filled the evening's minutes.
