Miss Havisham

Like yesterday's bride,
In her tattered finery,
She dances while she may.


It's getting to the end of summer and some of the butterflies are looking a bit  faded.  This was one of several fluttering around in the back garden, on close inspection her wings were a little frayed and her body was covered with powder from her wings ... just made me think of Miss Havisham.


In other news, I went to the local photography club tonight and one of my pictures was awarded a score of 20 (ie. the top score) .... dead chuffed!!  I have added it in extras.
