Sunset fog

I have posted the extras that would have been a blip on a day without competition. Each of the other three took my breath away.


We were enveloped in fog all day, so no hike as planned to a beautiful coastal view in Cutler. Instead we tackled a job that has been waiting here since we renovated in 2007. Old light fixtures, family paper, books, ancient kitchen items waiting to be sorted and bade goodbye in boxes under an old quilt in the upstairs hall. We set to work and managed to sort it all out, donating some to the local thrift shop, Bag O' Rags and keeping or trashing the rest. Done and dusted, phew.

For the Record,
This day came in thick a fog as they say here. It was dense all day with a few moments of brightness at sunset, then serious damp fog settled in again enveloping us in a blanket for the night. I fear it may rain tomorrow. Our days are winding down, but how will we ever leave on Monday morning??
