Back to school

It's only the second week of August and already summer has unofficially ended with the launch of a new school year.

It's very odd that for the first time in about 15 years, I only have children at home attending one school. Even when I lived in Maryland and had all four of my kids at St. John's - we always had an exchange student at Frederick High School.

Now my girls are out of school - off to university and other adventures. We aren't hosting an exchange student, and my older boy has graduated from Realschule and moved to the same Gymnasium where my younger son attends. So today they biked to class together - for the first time ever. And I just have two babies left, in one school.
