I was cooking asparagus

I never take photos while I'm cooking (for unknown reasons) but today I did (for other unknown reasons)

If I get round to it I might add a photo of when it comes out of the oven and when it's served. But don't expect too much....

I'm cooking it because ma in law will be here and she loves asparagus. However, I'm totally aware that she might now hate it or not like it the way I cook it. So, I'm keeping my expectations at nil too, so as not to get disappointed. I love asparagus and the sauce is really yummy, if she doesn't want it, I'm happy to eat it all.
