Filigree Silhouette

 Something a little different today..........but really only a variation on a theme  ;-))

A nice walk round the gravel pits that I haven't been to for some time, this morning and disappointingly not much wildlife around. I went looking for dragonflies ( is it me or are there fewer around than last year? ......plenty of damselflies but hardly any dragons anywhere). However I did see a Moorhen with three tiny chicks in tow....see extra photo of one of them, paddling like mad to keep up with the parent.....not one of the cutest chicks I have ever seen....sorry Mummy Moorhen ;-)))
