Bit fuzzy

We are on the way to Skye and we've stopped off at Glencoe Ski Centre overnight. We have arrived (not by intention) on the eve of an ultra mountain running event which is going to kick off at about 5.30 tomorrow morning. The place is full of ultra athletes who are preparing to run up, along and down Buchaille Etive Mor and then cross the road and run up and along the Aonoach Eagach Ridge. The event comes with the risk of 'death or serious injury'!! I've told Mr Q not to venture out of the motorhome in case he gets caught up in the excitement of it all and feels tempted to enter (No chance......ever!!).

At the moment the greatest obstacle for the athletes is the torrential rain - hurtling down in stair rods at the moment, and much, much worse, the midgies.

The photo is a bit fuzzy, taken as we driving along - there was no way I was heading out into those midgies!

Better get to bed early - I think it's going to be a noisy and early start!!!
