Hard at Work. Hard at Play.
After a day in front of a computer at work what better to do with your evening than.... A night in front of a computer. But this is getting the latest issue of the online cycling magazine I run online (hopefully in the next couple of hours so I can get to bed around 1). I would have been onto it earlier but for the holiday in the middle of the month, and having to go and pick up our new wireless router in preparation for the big switch from BT to O2 due to happen sometime tomorrow.
I'm actually hoping it doesn't happen at midnight and cause any 'issues' with uploading the site. Currently writing up the Indian bikes I saw while away, and only a couple of other things to write. I've edited the pieces from other people and just need to sort the images for those. Left with a gap of three pages for an article that was just too late to organise, so shuffling down from 40 pages to 37.
I enjoy it really, but it does get hard work when left to the last minute like this. And I really should get on with sorting it rather than blipping, so you'll forgive the lack of a rant or any insight in these words.
Oh, and look, all done without a single attempted plug of the site! (though my 'about' pages might be a little different... ;) )
EDIT: It got to half past midnight and I'm feeling a bit knackered. Hanging up the mouse for the night - have sent an email to the subscribers saying the new issue won't be online till about 8pm tomorrow (though I might get it on at work...)
