The road to recovery...
...is boring. Pippa is officially bored. She was mortified that she was only allowed to walk about 50 yards this morning and at a pace so slow that even Rags wondered what was going on...she was lucky I even let her step outside the house but I feared she might go insane if she didn't stretch her legs! Breakfast was a hearty affair and they mooched the jungle garden whilst I washed the car. It's pretty. And clean.
I went into town to return a couple of running tops I had bought and didn't like and then managed to find myself a couple of lovely smart tops to wear...your wife is a proper lady now, no scruffs when I step out of the house! I came home to a very cuddly Pip who won't leave me alone...she has to wear her cone as she keeps licking the stitches but I caught Rags and Lottie both trying to lick them - I couldn't believe how protective I was of her, the minute their mouths got to her stitches I was on to them like a shot! I have to admit that a swift tap on the head and they both know better now!
We were relaxing in the sun but the clouds have grown more dense so we are now in the sunroom, me working and the three of them dreaming. Clearly there are lots of birds and rabbits in their dreams as all three of them are running and chatting in their sleep! Too cute!
I'm still 'ick. Head fit to explode with germs. Oh well, I'm on a course in London tomorrow so at least I won't spread them to my colleagues at work!
The girls and Rags say, "Happy Daddy's Day"...they have bought you pressies for when you get home....13 days...yeah!
PS. Lottie is feeling a bit left out. So look here and say hello!
