Nairnshire Challenge
Participants register at Nairn Links from where they are taken by bus to the start on the B9007 Carrbridge road near Auchterteang. The Challenge begins with a journey on foot on tracks across the wilderness of the Dava Moor to Drynachan Lodge where participants change over to bikes. They then follow a picturesque route through wooded Nairnshire to the seashore at the Links in Nairn. Those who finish the Challenge, as well as having raised a lot of money for charity, will have travelled the length of Nairnshire, past its highest point to the sea, a distance of 31 miles. This is a picture of this years medal for those who complete the course.
