Garda

A clichéd picture of lights on the water, but I don't care. I had such a beautiful day. The drive from Verona to Lake Garda wasn't particularly pretty, but once here the scene was wonderful. Our hotel is gorgeous, and our room overlooks the lake. A bottle of prosecco was waiting for us in the room too.
The restaurant last night, Osteria di Mezzo was wonderful, but restaurants here and often in France struggle with the ambient lighting idea, and instead opt for full on bright lights. But it was a quirky little place with fabulous food. We sampled an awful lot of wine, and staggered for 45 minutes or so past the lake and back up to the hotel.
