Hebden Bridge
Another day out today - the joy of being retired. I went to Hebden Bridge with 2 friends - Berenice, and Linda with whom I used to work. We discovered a wonderful cafe - Blitz Cafe- set out as though it was WW2 wartime. This was very apt for Linda and I as we used to do wartime drama for schools in Leeds - Linda as a teacher and I as an Air Raid Warden. The cafe even had period music and themed food- well worth a visit to Hebden Bridge just to visit it. We also stopped by in an exclusive hat shop called 'Hattherapy,' and as I need a hat for an occasion later in the year, I spent some time discussing hats with the lady who makes them. I love the one shown on the blip ( unusual for me to show my face on a photo as mentioned on yesterday's blip). Hebden Bridge is picturesque with the narrow boats moored up on the canal.
Another good day out.
