In my recurring dream
about the history exam
I am

worried. I’ve missed many lessons
and have few notes
to revise from.

I’m stressed about the outcome.
It’s obvious
I’ll fail.

And night after night history
repeats itself
but I never learn.

In real life it’s the little things
that bother me. Mainly
it’s, if I go out

will I get a parking space
in front of the house
when I return?

No worries. History repeats itself
and I usually do.
