Luxor

It's now our second week and we have at last an Internet connection. I will back blip a couple of days each day until we catch up.

Up at 3.30 to join the hot air ballon flight (second shot). We then visited the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut (today's blip) & Medinat Habu temples, and the Colossi of Memnon, before returning for lunch. For those architecture students it's like seeing Sir Banister Fletcher's a History of Architecture
Book come alive.

Unfortunately we all have caught a bug, reckon it was the sugar cane drink at the station, so spent the rest of the day in bed.
