Cat on the gate

Very hot day, too hot for me to be outside. I have been cooking, ready for a family visit tomorrow. I tried to make ice cream but the kitchen is too hot, so I had to abandon the ice cream maker and put the liquid mixture into the freezer. Now I have to stir it up every hour. I expect they will enjoy it, however it turns out. Chocolate ice cream with chopped Maltesers stirred in.
Meanwhile Coco doesn't go far. Normous has been away this week and it has unsettled her. He will be back tonight and then she can relax.
