Decoy Doos

Got more done today then the forecast predicted !. Had various calves to suck or bottle feed,then took the loan car back to the garage,collected the Jeep and filled it with DIESEL before Mrs Farmerboab gets near it again.
Went and baled the remaining silage that was lying cut ,carted it down for wee brother to wrap,then off down the road to bale the straw I turned last night. Rain threatened again,but got it all baled. Not that dry, but made them into 120cm bales so they will do for shelters at lambing time.
The old boy that shoots over some of the fields had built a hide out of the bales and had his decoys out. From a distance they looked quite convincing,but there were no pigeons going about today. Probably busy eating someones rape seed !
