Who's the daddy?

This is Carl in his 'Daddy Messi' pose. And proud he should be as not every grown man can beat a wooden goalie with giant hands swinging in a football goal. But as everyone gets the same prize regardless of outcome I'm not sure it matters much. But after a tough couple of hours coaching the Purple Diamonds to victory in the U8 tournament at Green Days* Carl needed to let off some steam and a turn at this and a ride on the dodgems with his daughter seemed to do the trick. I dealt with the pressure mainly through the medium of Pimms and interspersing football games with watching the Talent Show with Anna.

*Green Days is a village fete style affair taking place over two days on our nearest bit of green space. It's a fabulous event with folks from just about every local business and enterprise participating in some way culminating in more things to eat, drink, do and be entertained by than you could ever need. And even a 5-a-side football tournament.
