Cider press

This cider press is in the car park of our local library and out-patients. It was donated by the developers of the sheltered housing opposite the park. Before being developed the area was an orchard belonging to Pete Summers, a local plumber, who also made cider as his hobby and this was his press - the manufacturing date is 1890.
Rose is at work again and Clare has gone to Oxford to visit her sister before she returns to the states.
