Waiting patiently

Bess and Oscar were waiting at the gate when I arrived home this afternoon after my golf match and gave me an enthusiastic welcome as usual!  (This is a posed photo!!)
My match was played yet again in rain saturated, muddy conditions and, although I played reasonably well, I didn't win -thanks for all the good luck messages!
However, even if I had have won I wouldn't be available on the dates as I will probably be in Thailand!!! More about that later.
