Sunny Saplings

It is our 35th Wedding Anniversary and we took advantage of the nice weather and went out to one of our favourite places - Fountains Abbey nr Ripon.

With our two canine walking companions - Katie and Finlay - we did a couple of circular walks - one down the Seven Bridges Valley and then around the lakes and abbey itself, stopping for coffee and scones and then a cup of tea. We did about 6.5 miles in total.

I spotted this little group of saplings on a bank with a spotlight of sun shining through the trees above - it just made them stand out against the background
