Purple Loosestrife

I noticed this pretty flower  growing on the river bank as I mowed the grass this morning.   I'm so glad I got it cut this morning as we have had heavy rain from around 3pm.    This was taken after it had started raining and I liked the raindrops on the petals, by the way the grey background is the river and not the sky.
