The Postbox

A local woodcarver and his neighbour decided to make their postbox more interesting by turning it into a decorated chalet. You can just see one of the post slots on the lower right, the other will be on the left .... I presume! I wish I could have seen the carvings up close but we were in our tour rep's transport. He kindly stopped, put down his window and I sort of pointed the camera at the chalet. I wonder what my postie would say if I had a box like that at my garden gate!
