A Dogs Life
Since late Thursday night we've had our friends two dogs whilst she's attended a wedding over the weekend in Bristol. They're the ones we take out once a week and have become very fond of. They're characters and are so well behaved, they're a joy to look after.
The older, dark haired one called Bambi, is 10 years shortly. She's a cross between a labrador and a spaniel. The other is 2 years and a Welsh working cocker spaniel bitch called Honey. The main photo is Honey and the extra, Bambi.
As they've been with us for a good three days it's only correct that I blip them before they return home this evening. The blip photo's were taken this morning in our conservatory after breakfast. The rain was lashing down and another walk wasn't inviting.
Mid-day the rain eased off and we went for a three mile walk around Penallta Park, an old colliery site that's been reclaimed and landscaped for the community and wildlife to enjoy. The rain stopped and the walk was most welcomed by them.
They are really pampered pooches who enjoy the fuss made of them as they lay on our laps and are stroked. Now they've gone back we're missing them already. Maybe in a few years when we don't travel so much we may have our pet.
