Unbelievable? Not Really

I drove into Leatherhead for a swim this morning along the B2450. About 3 weeks ago the road has been resurfaced and there are signs telling us not to exceed 20mph. Now there is also a notice saying that there will be drainage works along the same road for the next 8 weeks. It might have seemed sensible to do the drainage works before the resurfacing?
