"AT THE END OF THE DAY " - Les Miserabels

Wow - what a day.  The weather forecast said cloud and rain.  Yes, we had a few showers this morning but this afternoon the sun came out to play.

We went to two garden centres this morning.  At the first one we bought some more alpine plants to complete our project.  In the smaller picture, Phoebe got spooked by an artificial Border Collie.  We then had to go to another centre to buy more stone and fill in.  So this afternoon I planted another 14 plants while Mr A unloaded another 8 bags of Cotswold Pink stones.  So at last the new feature is finished.

Tomorrow more rain is forecast, so we are pleased we managed to complete our project and Mr A managed to mow the grass.

After working so hard, we enjoyed our time on the beach with Phoebe and it was good to see the holidaymakers at last having some sun for their precious holiday.  The forecast for the week ahead is not good and once again we hope they are wrong as my sister Redflash is visiting for a well earned break and naturally we want them to have good weather.
