Improvements?

Building work proceeding in the gap site behind the Royal Mile. 

Was in the city centre today to visit the temple of Apple to sort out the teenager's problem phone.  Nothing that £619 couldn't fix... Yup, new phone.  Her purchase though.

Took the opportunity to go to see "Join the Dots" at the Old Royal High School as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival.  I'd wanted to see this impermanent art installation (which will be erased on 31 August) after the Hanne Darboven exhibition yesterday which provoked thought and questions about the marking of time and the intriguing TRG3 project about the collection of art and how we catalogue and arrange collections.  

I think that the Edinburgh Art Festival is my favourite of them all.
