Lovely brunch with M&V sitting in glorious sunshine at Peter's Yard before they headed back to Glasgow, then caught up on mounds or ironing before walking over to the conference centre-determined to try and get a ticket to see Robert Lepage's piece on memory, Canada, family and language. Waited a while in the bar by the canal basin, having an Aperol spritz as a Venice reminder. Today seems to be our entire summer in one day-gorgeous weather
Having queued for an hour and a half got in to see the show. Fantastic. Just incredible.
