Penrhyn Castle

Penrhyn Castle in North Wales is a place of imagination. Created on the remains of earlier castles in the 19th century the complexity of the internal decoration and plasterwork is stunning (hit the large button). It was hard to pull one picture out for the Blip, and the rest are in the National Trust album of my Flickr account. Do go and see if I selected the right one. Some of the shots are in-camera HDR, and capture some the colour from the lighting; I think they're more interesting for that, but you need to visit in person to get the full impact.
