Patriotic Great Tit

Watching this Great Tit perched on a tree branch in the garden made me think of the football players in the Euros at the moment . All standing there hand on their hearts ready to give their all for their country.

Just before I took this particular blip I got a few of the weebird scratching away vigorously at its plumage with this claw so I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

The womens' teams from both Scotland and England have had a good weekend with England winning 1-0 ( although I have a feeling we will hear lots of discussion re that goal ) and Scotland winning 8-0 as both go forward into their next Euro games later on this week. ... and to think we almost went over to TYnecastle for the women's game.
