Great Grandfather Hull

Drove back to Pukekohe today to spend another few days with Heatherbelle, left Ian at home to fend for himself!

I wanted to share this very old photo that Heatherbelle has of her great grandfather John. It was taken in Germany in 1845 and is printed on glass, a very early photograph and I suspect very valuable.
John Hull was born in England in 1826 and studied and became a Doctor in Germany before emigrating to New Zealand.
