A hint of autumn...

Mum's garden again for today's blip! I always feel that summer is coming to a close when the crocosmia begin to flower. These are flourishing in an almost forgotten spot in a corner of the garden. It was a usual Sunday here with the family gathering for Sunday breakfast and a blether as has happened for decades. It's a comforting routine but not one I take for granted as my mother heads further into old age.
