Remember, ' back in the day ', when in the mid 1980s, this permanent home for the Turner Collection, was the big attraction at the time.
Long before, the London Eye, Olympics and Tate Modern - having said that, as someone pointed out, when the paintings of the last - named were in Pimlico, a lot less people bothered to go and see them !
