when I started
I wasn't sure if I was going to use blip as a place for good photos, or as a journal. It had definitely become a journal. And for the past year most pictures have been taken on my phone.
Back on my birthday, in January, I was promised a shopping trip for a treat of my choosing. It never quite happened and on Tuesday night Ad presented me with a couple of parcels. I am completely intimidated by my new camera and want to make sure that I can use it properly, rather than always resorting to manual settings, point and click. Having said that it takes pretty good pictures on manual settings, point and click.
We spent a happy day at Hareshaw Linn, near Bellingham, with friends walking to the waterfall and back before having a lovely late lunch. As always, wandering along wondering why we don't do these sort of things more often. The computer is running so ridiculously slowly that I couldn't wait the two minutes that it takes each picture to load to check if I had taken any decent ones of the waterfalls on the walk. So I went for my instant favourite.
