There may be trouble ahead?

This week the kids have not watched any T.V or had any sweets- not out of meanness on our part, they just haven't asked, so we haven't offered. Tonight though we let them have something sweet after dinner. Beth took her treat willingly, but Grace wasn't happy with what she was offered. As she began to protest, Beth knew this was going to go one of two ways- that Grace would relent and take what she was offered, or she would keep complaining and lead herself into trouble. It really is written all over Beth's face, a look of worry that Grace might not do the right thing. Happily, she did. Beth was smiling just a moment later.
