Start of the road

This place on the island of Pulau Weh is interesting for the sheer fact that it's where the far western point of Indonesia's road system begins. It's the largest archipelago nation in the world, home to around 250 million people and has so many islands that people have given up counting. So it's fun to think of the end of this road all the way up to the border with Papua New Guinea a few thousand kilometres away.
