Balloon Swallowing

We had to be in town to see the solicitor about the sale of my mother’s flat. Beforehand we decided to go to the High Street and see what was going on. This is a street entertainer, Arnold Palmer (sic), a Californian magician. He was really good, and even though we watched him closely he managed to produce 2 oranges from a small cup and a melon from his hat. As a finale he swallowed a long balloon. The looks on the kid’s faces were wonderful. The extra blip is of a sight in the street near the Traverse. It is August in Edinburgh after all.
