Skye, from North Uist

I have had a fairly free summer as I'm just waiting for my next job to start so I've been doing a little bit of traveling around. I spent 3 weeks on North Uist, in Lochmaddy, and managed to get out to do a bit of walking. The landscape of North Uist is renowned for being as much water as it is land, and there isn't much in the way of hills. However just outside Lochmaddy there are two small hills called North and South Lee. I popped up North Lee one day, and found that I could see all the way over to the coast of Skye from the top!
