Light at the end of the tunnel.

So, we finally arrived at our hotel in Rouse at well gone midnight. The taxi driver insisted we paid him 150leva as he had been waiting around so long. Seeing as it's getting on for 3leva to the pound and we were grateful to finally arrive we paid the bill in crisp new leva notes and headed straight to bed.

This morning was spent at the eON Bulgaria office with our agent sorting out the electricity account which had been cut off in some bad weather due to being unsafe - us and dodgy electrics!!! :-D

The good thing is that we managed to see the house and wow does it look amazing!

We were sitting in the lounge deciding all sorts of things regarding its future improvements.

Today's visit has lightened our spirits regarding the whole house in Bulgaria project and its was great to see our neighbours even if the most we could say was "hello" in their native language.

After a few hellish days it's good that there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel.
