Pear Tree

We had many heavy rain showers today and that was reason enough to get me back to work in the unfinished room. Primer is now on the walls...
More rain expected for tomorrow, so there is hope I will get finished before the end of my holidays.

Between showers a short walk to find todays blip and here it is.

Is there a saying about pears like there is one about apples?
What comes to (my) mind is the famous  German poem by Theodor Fontane "Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland, ein Birnbaum in seinem Garten stand...."
