(Virgins) Queen and Castle

Epic fail with table reservation at Virgins and Castle today. No wonder I didnt receive a confirmation. When Te-Anne and I arrived there, they informed us that they do not serve dinner on Sundays. Noooo!!!! Good thing, Te-Anne came to my rescue and she was quick enough to call Queen and Castle (a few minutes walk near Virgins and Castle) to get us a table for six. Whew!!!! So from Filipino food, we ended up with British food.

This gathering celebrated two important events : Kate's completion of her internship (?) at Warwick Uni and Te-Anne's decision to stay in Warwick Uni. Something to be thankful for that things worked out fine :)

We did a walk in the dark through Abbey Fields guided only by our torches (getting British here, i refused to say flashlight). They had tea for 5 minutes at Te-Anne's place before hurriedly walking towards the nearest bus stop to catch the 2205 service to the Uni. I, on the other hand, had to wait for a further 20 minutes after they left to go back to Leam. Waited outside with Te-Anne and had been offered candies by some stranger. We begged off of course although the candies looked yummy. There is little wonder why innocent kids get enticed by strange people on the streets. They are making these damn candies so colorful and delicious!
