surreal

we were sitting on a porch drinking (but I swear we wren't drunk)
at 11,30 PM we heard a noise: BUM!
and we found a duck close to the gate exactly where you see her
she moved the legs three times and then....dead!
was she trying to play "ducketball"? strange way to commit suicide
we'll never know (we didn't keep her, we put her in the bin....inglorious end of a wonderful bird)
