Honey Bee.
On the 13th August last year I blipped a Red Admiral on our Buddleja. This year it hasn't been in flower many days. It is good to be able to use blip to look back at when things happened.
Today I saw the first Butterfly on the flowers so grab camera and out I go. It was a Small Tortoiseshell, but an uncooperative one. It was either too high to get near or only stayed on the flower a second or so, meaning by the time I had got in position and focused it had gone.
There were lots of Bumble Bees and a few Honey Bees, so I contented myself with shots of them. Not a terribly close shot but I liked it.
